so when I got my iPad pro, I was super excited for all the possibilities with music remixing b/c of the updated tablet, but, of course, it's hard to find a suitable app that is also aesthetically pleasing. I very much like the look and the idea of pacemaker but there are a few things I find a bit odd and slightly annoying.

How come the phone app and the ipad app are so different? I can't share, delete, or rename mixes (and accidental recordings) on my ipad but apparently the phone app can? also, I was wondering if maybe having a help button would by nice because i just got this app and i was confused at first (I get it now after reading about the different fxs and stuff).

Also, there is no logging in to pacemaker screen at all, but other people have asked questions about that, which confused me as I was not sure what they were talking about. But yeah...

I understand that apps are probably not the easiest to control, and i do really like the mechanics of the app and how it looks. I read something about a pacemaker 2.0 which I will be looking out for, but no pressure or anything.

Again, nice app, thanks for reading this.

Hello Shaun,

Pacemaker 2.0 as we call it is our social platform which is currently available on iPhone only. It let's you create a mix using Spotify tracks, create an account and share it with others. You can make as many mixes as you like and show off your work to the community. They can then choose to follow you and you can follow and like other people's mixes.

On iPhone we have a smaller screen so we don't offer the full customisable mixing experience that you get on iPad.

Right now we're focusing on making the social experience even better on iPhone and have a number of great updates planned for 2017. Unfortunately there's no way to switch between our iPad and iPhone modes on your device so currently if you want to experience the social side - you'll need an iPhone.

Hope this clears things up.
