Spotify log in failed

Ive tried several times to log in to spotify through the app, but it just redirects me to a page in the app that says the log in failed and to try again. This has happened several times, i habe close and restarted the app but it still wont log me on. I saw some oter people had this issue, but no real solution to this case

Hello Juan,

Sorry to hear this. Are you using Pacemaker for iPad or iPhone? We've had a few issues with people unable to sign in to Spotify using a cellular connection but usually this then works when they connect to WiFi. If you're able to let me know which device your using and if you've tried WiFi - I'll do my best to help you!

Hi , every time i log in to pacemaker with my spotify account and when i enter the game it shows me to if u want to make your own mixtape , u have to download the premium version ! But i have already had a premium version and every time i log in it shows me again and again ! Provided i've already downloaded that i don't know how to solve it .

Sorry about this! I'm not aware of any issues currently and have managed to login to Spotify just fine on my own iPad. Can I double check got an active Spotify Premium account?
You can check at https://www.spotify.com/. Pacemaker requires you to have an active Spotify Premium subscription to mix Spotify tracks.

We had 1 user who found that uninstalling and re-installing Pacemaker fixed their login issue. Unfortunately when you do this your saved mixes will be deleted - if you haven't already tried this you can see if this helps.
Please let me know if you're still having issues and we can look at this further.

Hi,

I also have the same log in problem with Spotify using pacemaker om the iPad. I already checked and I have a premium account. Reinstalling the app also didn't work. Does Any one have a different solution?

Hi,

Im also experiencing the same problem Jasper. It used to work just fine for me, but I guess I somehow got logged out and now its failing every time to log me back in.
I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and its confirmed by Spotify that I have a premium account.

Please help. I love your app!

Tonight's outage (28th February) is caused by Amazon Web Services being unavailable. This is a global outage as reported by the media:

As soon as Amazon resolves the issue, Spotify login will work again. Please accept our apologies for the issue.

I have Spotify Premium its a family subscription. Does that make this not work? It was working just fine a day or two ago...now nothing.

Sorry to hear this. Spotify Premium in a family subscription should be fine. Do you get a specific error message and are you using iPad or iPhone?

The ipad seems to be working just fine, on the phone when i am taken to the page that says connect pacemaker to your spotify i sign in and then say ok...it takes me to the pacemaker app and almost instantly comes up with a spotify login failed message.

Are you a T-Mobile Customer? We are aware of the following issue which causes Spotify to fail to work whilst on a mobile data connection. Unfortunately our only suggestion is to use WiFi until T-Mobile get this fixed.

I have an iPad and am not on t-mobile. I cannot log in to pacemaker. This really is frustrating as I have purchased almost all the add-ons. Please help.

What version of Pacemaker do you have? You can check by opening the iOS settings app, scrolling down and clicking on Pacemaker. Can you post back here and let me know?

Hello! I am having a similar but slightly different problem.
I am on an ipad mini ver 9.3.5
running Pacemaker ver. 2.3.0
a random person logged into spotify via pacemaker one night and I can't switch to my account. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but every time I try to log in it takes me to a spotify page with this person's username, if I say cancel it takes me back to pacemaker in an infitite loop. If I say continue it logs me in as this person without further question.
I have the Spotify app installed on this iPad as well, in that app I am logged in as myself.

Hello Austin,

If you're using the login with Facebook option, and see your profile picture, followed by someone elses Spotify account details, then it sounds like someone has linked their Spotify account to your Facebook account. To fix this you need to go to the Facebook website and click "Remove" on the right hand side: https://www.facebook.com/games/get-spotify. You'll then be able to login with Spotify and set it up with your account.

If you click "Login with Facebook" and instantly see someone else's account then the Facebook application on your iPad has stored their Facebook details. Open up the iOS settings application on your device and look for Facebook and remove any accounts which are not yours. Alternatively find Safari in the iOS settings application and click "Clear History and Website Data", followed by "Clear". You should then be able to login.
