Editing a previously published mixtape

Mike Mar 11, 2017 12:51PM CET

Hi I've recently published a mix tape I am working on as I was concerned about losing the mix and felt if t was published then at least I would have back up. I now want to edit the mix. Do I unpublish the mix or is there another way to edit the mix without losing everything? Nervous about losing this mix. Thanks

Hello Mike,

Great idea publishing the mix to keep it safe - you have two choices:

1. Unpublish the current mix. It will move from the "Published" tab to the "Saved" tab where you can edit it, then publish it again under a new name.
2. Create a remix of the published mix. Just play the mix you have published then tap on the last track, you'll be able to click the "+" sign to add a new song. You'll also see the mix name will have the words RMX added on the end. You can then tweak and edit the mix and publish it. Both the first (unfinished) and the second RMX mix will be seen by everyone. You can then unpublish the first (or leave it) and it won't affect the second.
