sharing mixes from iPhone

Rodcaster Apr 21, 2017 05:31PM CEST

thanks for your answer Phillip Munn!
but I know pacemaker since the "lets mix" app days. I really love the progress in usability
and style. but I realized that this app is a "buy Spotify about" package. why don't you name this app now "Mix Spotify for cash". don't get me wrong, I like to buy for the app, and add-ons like filters and stuff...ONCE! why should I pay per month to trigger and fading my mix? all this was included first. and now? pacemaker+ ? why? why you force me to "stream" from Spotify. my tracks and labels I don't find there. I like the app to make mixtapes from my Beatport and Traxsource buys.
and pay once for the artist thats it, that was like before. now you mention the payment to the Artist from Spotify....well, I really don't care cause I don't sTREAM my sound.
other thing, when I bought once my filter pack on iPad, after updating ...I loose it!?? I bought int again on my iPhone then, because I love the way to mix ...during flying, in train, waiting room...whereever! then I realize I have to pay to use the MAIN REASON for using this?? sure, I have other apps like Traktor and other...but, again... I like the kind of your software, but not the progress forward you made.
sorry for my harsh words. but I feel that way.
regards RD

Hey Rodcaster,

It's completely up to you if you want to purchase Pacemaker+. You can mix for free even without a subscription, but you won't get our most advanced features. With Pacemaker+ we'll keep your published mixes safely stored away online so they can't be lost. If we didn't offer this as a monthly payment, eventually Pacemaker's social network would have to close - a one off payment supports us initially, but we have to pay to host your mix online and these costs don't simply stop.

Regarding the choice of music, Spotify is our first great partner. We're in discussions with others but I can't share more today. The vision for Pacemaker is to make a platform where people can share their music legally and artists are payed and rewarded for their work. If we let you share music held on your phone with others, there's no way to keep track of what songs were played and which artists should get some money for making the tracks initially. Using Spotify, we've achieved this and as mentioned already - we hope to add other sources of music in the future.

Your effects are yours to use forever. We had a small issue with a previous version of Pacemaker, but if you click "Restore Purchase" you should find they are unlocked and ready to use.
