Issue loading track

Greetings!

I am having an issue loading a specific track to one of my mixes. After i add the track to my mix, it shows on the wave track but then stays in a perpetual loading state and never syncs itself into the mix. I have tried removing and adding the track again, restarting Pacemaker, saving the mix and then try to add the track from the save, and verifying that i have the most recent update (which i do). Nothing seems to work and I'm hoping there is a work around for this.

It's really not a big deal but it's definitely a track i'd love to use, so if there is a solution i'm all ears :). Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read this. Have a great day and keep up the good work!

How odd! Sorry about that. I was expecting you to say it was a local track. Sometimes if users sync their device with iTunes, then the local tracks in a saved mix might no-longer appear on the device. Pacemaker can't find the track so occasionally it's possible to end up in this state. I've not heard of this with Spotify tracks before.

Could you let me know the name of the Spotify track you are having issues with? Feel free to just give us the name and artist or if you can send a direct link to the track from Spotify on desktop (if you have it in a saved playlist), even better! We'll then try and work out why this is happening.

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for sharing this song with us. I've had a play myself and weirdly the issue doesn't seem to happen here.
Two more questions:

Which country are you in?
Can you play the same track back in Spotify on Desktop? (I assume you can).

I ask this because sometimes tracks are unavalible in certain regions for licencing reasons. Pacemaker should skip these tracks in the mix if this is the case. If you can play the song though in the desktop player or Spotify's own mobile app, in theory there shouldn't be a reason why Pacemaker couldn't play the same song.

Very odd. I am in the United States and yes i can play the same track on my desktop.

I will keep trying to find ways to add it to my mix but it seems like i only have a few methods i haven't tried already. I will let you know if i have any luck. Thanks for investigating.

Hey Kevin,

The team here have tried to reproduce this by using one of our accounts in the USA as well as accounts in Sweden and the UK. We haven't had any luck unfortunately. If you do manage to find any other songs which exhibit the same behaviour, please let us know. Unfortunately we're a bit stumpted as to why this might have happened or how we can fix it.
