As a user registered via Spotify, I'd like to be able register for a 'native' Pacemaker account (with password), and/or connect via Spotify. I do not want to be locked out of any option due picking another.

If you ever delete your Facebook or Spotify account - send us an email: support (at) pacemaker (dot) net and we'll be happy to help. We'll still have your original email address on file. Providing you still have access to that email address, before you connected Pacemaker Facebook or Spotify, you'll be able to do a password reset using the original email address once we've changed some settings behind the scenes.

If you loose access to both your original email account and Facebook/Spotify, unfortunately we'd have no way to help you as we'd be unable to proove you were the original account owner. You can though always, setup a new Pacemaker account and simply remix any published mixes you did by searching for your old username and adding a song on the end of the mix, tweaking a transition or deleting a track. When you create remixes like this - the original mix remains untouched. People can choose to listen to either your remix or the original within Pacemaker, if you choose to publish it.

Hey Robin,

We actually do this for security reasons. Once you login with a third party service such as Spotify or Facebook it's safer for us to delete your password so we hold less sensitive information about you. Providing you have access to Facebook or Spotify you'll always be able to sign into Pacemaker.

Hi Phillip, okay, but what happens if I create an account with Facebook/Spotify, delete that FB/SP account, get another FB/SP account under another emailaddress? > How would I be able to access my Pacemaker mixtapes again?
