Lost Mix

Sen Jan 08, 2019 02:38AM CET

Hi,

I recently had to reinstall the app, so I saved the .recipe files on my computer and put them back on my phone. Is there really no way for my phone to read the file? I had a very time consuming mix I was working on and now it's completely gone. I put a TON of work into it and am totally devastated. Please let me know if it can be restored in any way.

Thanks.

Hey Sen,

If these mixes were made with Spotify tracks, rather than iTunes tracks - the mixes should be recoverable.
Open iTunes with the phone connected to your PC.

In the file sharing screen: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201301
- Click on Pacemaker.
- Drag the recipies folder from your new phone to your desktop (incase you have made mixes on your new phone).
- Copy any .recipie files into this folder, from your old phone.
- Now drag the whole folder back into iTunes on the same screen.
- It'll ask you if you want to "replace" the folder.
- Say "yes". You'll now have all mixes (old and new) hopefully visible in the app.
